Our Process

Home | About Us | Our Process

A collaborative approach built around engineering, quality, and efficiency

Successful stamping begins long before the first part is produced. At Neway, we partner with customers early to understand their goals, refine part designs, and determine the most efficient production strategy. Our process combines engineering expertise, modern technology, and clear communication to ensure consistent, reliable results.

How We Begin

Every project starts with a conversation focused on understanding your application and requirements. We typically review:

  • Expected annual usage (EAU) and production timelines
  • Part models, drawings, or initial concepts
  • Material requirements and performance needs
  • Whether the part is best suited for short run or long run production

This early alignment helps us select the right tooling and manufacturing approach.

Engineering & Design Review

Our engineers act as an extension of your team, evaluating manufacturability and identifying opportunities to improve part performance or reduce cost.

This stage may include:

  • Reviewing geometry and tolerances
  • Recommending design refinements
  • Determining the optimal tooling strategy
  • Confirming materials and forming methods

The goal is simple: ensure the part is engineered to run efficiently and consistently.

Prototyping & Validation

Using advanced laser capabilities, we create fast, accurate prototypes to validate form, fit, and function before tooling begins. Prototyping also supports early testing and bridge production when needed.

In-House Tooling Development

Once the design is approved, our tooling team builds the dies and fixtures needed for production.

Capabilities include:

  • Progressive tooling for long run programs
  • Modular tooling solutions for short run production
  • Tool maintenance and repair throughout the program lifecycle

Keeping tooling in-house gives us tighter control over timing, cost, and quality.

Production: Short Run or Long Run

After tooling is complete, we move into production based on your program requirements.

Short Run

Flexible, efficient production for low-volume or variable demand programs.

Long Run

Higher-volume production supported by progressive tooling, automation, and consistent quality control. Automation—including robotic handling and automated inspection—is used where it improves throughput and repeatability.

Quality at Every Stage

Quality is built into our process. We use:

  • Multi-step inspection procedures
  • Precision measurement systems
  • Controlled workflows for repeatability
  • Documentation tailored to industry requirements (including PPAP when needed)

This ensures every part meets specifications consistently.

Ongoing Support & Stocking Programs

For long-term programs, we can:

Manage forecasts

Maintain stocking levels

Support just-in-time delivery

Provide clear, responsive communication throughout the program lifecycle

Our goal is to keep your production running smoothly.
